Thailand generates an enormous volume of agricultural residue every year. Much of it is landfilled or burned, and the carbon it holds returns to the atmosphere within months.
Biochar changes that. Residue is pyrolysed into a stable form of carbon that stays in the ground for centuries, and returns to farmland as a soil amendment.
